SolarBubbles is hard at work on the Licoln Labs collaboration effort. It is sure to be an exciting semester for us as we aim to accomplish an autonomous, long-endurance, solar-powered flight.

Weekly Update

January 8

Following a successful System Requirements Review in October, the SolarBubbles Team has begun work on the Phase II project. We are debugging a design code for SolarSight II, a solar-powered glider that will fly a long-endurance, autonomous mission with a small payload. The SolarSight I airframe has been re-built and is currently being prepared for solar cell integration which will begin this week.
